The workshops range from introductory to advanced and are delivered on topics within all three regular categories of faculty performance (research, teaching, and service) and other topics (well-being, leadership).

College of Fine Arts New Faculty Welcome

Presenters: Director of Faculty Advancement Tim Creswick, Associate Dean of Undergraduate Studies John Turci-Escobar, Professor Megan Alrutz.
An introduction to the college and a high-level informational session on student affairs items, graduate and research items and certain legal and risk management items.

Filling Out Your Faculty Annual Report (FAR) for the First Time

Third Year Review Dossier Guidance

Promotion to Tenured Professor Workshop

Presenters: Dean Ramón Rivera-Servera and Director of Faculty Advancement Tim Creswick This is a promotion workshop for tenured associate professors interested in promotion to tenured full professor. The workshop focuses on things you should do in the 3-5 years leading up to your promotion bid and how to get advice on when to go up for promotion.

Professional-Track Faculty Promotion Workshop

This will be a session led by a faculty member external to the College of Fine Arts who has implemented a review process and rubric for evaluating community-engaged faculty activity for the promotion and tenure process.
