Nomination Process
  • Fine Arts faculty and students may nominate candidates for this award using the form available below. Faculty members may not self-nominate. Forms are due to Tim Creswick in the Dean’s Office by Friday, March 8, 2024. Nominees can be tenured, tenure track, or professional track faculty who hold a 50% time or greater appointment in the College of Fine Arts for a minimum of three consecutive years.
  • Nominees will be asked to provide a dossier of the following materials:

    • Recent syllabus from a favorite course
    • Two letters of support
    • Letters may be written by any of the following: faculty peer, department chair, or student
    • Curriculum vitae (please be sure to include any previous teaching awards)
    • CIS summary sheet of the past five years (the college will pull these results and incorporate them into your file)
  • Nominations from the previous two years will be automatically nominated and their packet of materials will be submitted on their behalf for the dean to consider.

  • The winner will be notified in early May.
Award
  • The winner will receive a cash award of $5,000 processed through payroll.
